Can I choose the model of the car?


We guarantee that the make and model of the rental car, will be the same as the car displayed on our website. However, under certain circumstances, delivery problems may compel Diamanz Cabrio Rental to cancel the reservation or supply another car.

Can I prepay my rental?

If you book your car on our website and select to pay via PayPal, the car will be prepaid.

Should you wish to perform the prepayment via bank, please contact us. Even if you pay via bank, you will still need to present a valid credit card for the deposit when you pick up the car.

Can I rent a car if I don’t have a credit card?

No, unfortunately not!

You need to be in possession of a valid credit card. When collecting the car, you will be required to leave a deposit via a valid credit card. This deposit ensures that the customer can cover any damage to the vehicle and/or equipment.

This is standard practice with all car rental companies and usually takes the form of an amount blocked on the main driver’s credit card which is normally released within a week after the return of the car.

Can leave Spain with the car?


You are allowed to enter Gibraltar and Portugal, but not to bring the car by ferry to Morocco & Ceuta, neither to the Canary Islands or the Balearic Islands.

Can someone else drive the car I am renting?


An additional driver can be added to your rental agreement.

The charge per additional driver is EUR 8,- per day, with the maximum of EUR 100,- incl. 21% tax. An additional driver must be requested at the time of pick-up and cannot be pre-ordered.

Do you lease cars?


Currently, we do not offer any option for a long term lease agreement.

Do you rent cars by hours?


All rates are based on a rental period with a minimum of 24 consecutive hours. If you rent for one day only and you return the vehicle within 24 hours after pick-up, you will still be charged for the full day.

Does the cost of the rental include fuel?


Our fuel policy is: Pick up full, return full. No hidden surprises!

How are rates calculated?

The rates are based on a 24 hour rental day, starting with the hour you requested in your reservation.

How can I avoid additional charges after the rental?

Be sure to return your rental car in the same condition with full tank and at the time, date and place stated in your rental contract and without any pending fines.

How can I cancel my reservation?

Cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to: info@diamanz.com.

How do I request an extension of the rental period?

Any extension will be subject to availability, so, should you wish to keep the car for a longer period than originally agreed in the rental contract, you first have to contact us (in order to have your extension approved) either by email (info@diamanz.com), phone (+34 … … … / +34 … … …) or at the office, and thereafter sign a new rental contract in order to maintain agreements and insurances. The new rental contract can be requested by email.

How do I request an invoice/receipt?

Once you complete your reservation, you will automatically receive an order confirmation by email with the invoice which you can print or save for future reference. Our emails might end up in your “spam” folder. If you don’t receive any order confirmation by email, please contact us.

For any optional extras added at the time of pick-up, these costs will be added and included in the invoice part in the rental contract you will receive when you pick up the car. You can request these invoices reprinted at any time by contacting us.

How long can I rent a car?

The car can be rented for a minimum of 1 day to a maximum of 30 days per contract.

How old do I have to be to rent a car?

Diamanz Cabrio Rental requires your age to be at least 21 years old. Renters between 21 to 25 years will be subject to a daily “Young Driver Surcharge”.

What are the driving license requirements?

The driver and the additional driver have to be in possession of a valid driving license for minimum of 1 year with no major endorsements and valid in Spain, where the rental takes place. Expired or provisional licenses will not be accepted.

UK, Wales or Scotland licences holders need to present a printed summary included the “licence check code” provided by DVLA as of the new law introduced on June 8th 2015.

What happens if my flight is delayed or cancelled?

If you have a delay, you have to inform us as soon as possible.

The Vehicle will then stay reserved for your booked period and can be picked up when you arrive. The lost period will not be compensated unfortunately.

If you don’t inform us about your delay, we assume there is a “No Show” and will process in regards to that policy in our Terms & Conditions.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit cards and cash.

The booking can be paid via PayPal by either credit card or debit card. Additional extras at the time of pick up can be paid either by credit-, debit card or cash. The deposit has to be deposited by credit card.

We accept all credit cards from internationally recognised credit card companies, such as American Express, Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa, Japanese Credit Bureau, Diners Club and Discover Card.

NOT ACCEPTED: Pre-paid credit cards, debit cards (Visa Electron), Laser, Maestro, debit, or Switch cards.

What shall I do if the car breaks down, or if I am involved in an accident?

In the case of a breakdown, an accident or mechanical difficulties, you must contact us immediately. You would need our authority for any repairs or replacement cars. Keep copies of all relevant documentation, as this may be needed if you wish to make an insurance claim.

For accidents, a police report and an accident statement will be required. The accident statement is included in the car.

Why have I been charged extra after the rental?

There can be a number of reasons, for instance; local charges, refueling charges, additional extras, parking tickets and fines and damage to the vehicle.

Will I be charged if I return the car later than the return time in the rental contract?


Vehicles incl. extras returned late with prior notice will be charged a 1 day rental charge. Vehicles incl. extras returned late without prior notice will be charged a 1 day rental charge, and the Vehicle will immediately be reported as stolen. The renter will be liable for any administration costs occurring in this matter.

Will I get a refund if I return the car earlier than the return time in the rental contract?

We do not provide refunds for vehicles returned earlier than specified in the rental contract.

Our pricing is based on your confirmed length of rental as you indicated when you booked your car. Our rates vary, depending on whether you rent for one day, one week or a weekend. So, if you return your car earlier or later than your designated return date, it could affect your price in either direction. Typically, the longer your rental period, the more you save on your per-day rate. Therefore, if your original confirmed rate was for a seven-day rental and you decide to return the car after just three days, your per-day price could increase, which could increase your overall rental fee as well.
